The Senior Finance Officer is a key member of the Finance team, providing accounting expertise and operational support across financial reporting, payroll support and general accounting functions. This is a newly created part-time (0.6 FTE) role within the Finance team, reflecting the School鈥檚 commitment to strengthening financial governance and supporting continued growth. Working closely with the Finance Manager, this role contributes to accurate reporting, compliance, and continuous improvement of financial processes.</p> <p>Duties include:</p> <ul> <li>Supporting the Finance Manager with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, compliance, and month-end processes.</li> <li>Assisting with statutory and internal reporting requirements, including BAS, Census reporting and management reports.</li> <li>Providing operational support and backup across Accounts Payable and Payroll functions.</li> </ul> <p>This role would suit an experienced finance professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and is committed to service, integrity and excellence. &nbsp;</p> <p><strong>ABOUT THE PERSON</strong></p> <p>Demonstrated accounting experience with strong analytical skills and high attention to detail, ideally within an education or not-for-profit environment. Possess strong systems capability and advanced Excel skills.
