Tyndale invites applications for employment as a Casual Bus Driver.  You would join our close-knit team of drivers and play a key role in supporting the safe and reliable transport of students in a variety of settings. 

<p><strong>About our school </strong>&nbsp;<br> &nbsp;<br> Tyndale is a preschool to Year 12 co-educational school located in Blacktown, Sydney. At Tyndale we believe that God has given parents the responsibility for the nurture of their children according to the Word of the Lord. Tyndale is therefore committed to partnering with parents in the Christian education of their children by equipping students to be disciples of Jesus through Christ-centred Biblical education. &nbsp;</p> <p><strong>About the role</strong>&nbsp;</p> <p>Tyndale invites applications for employment as a&nbsp;Casual Bus Driver.&nbsp;&nbsp;You would join our&nbsp;close-knit team of drivers&nbsp;and&nbsp;play a key role in&nbsp;supporting&nbsp;the safe and reliable transport of students&nbsp;in a variety of settings.&nbsp;Tyndale’s bus services run daily during school terms from 6:30 to 9:00am and 2:45 to 5:15pm, transporting students between home and school.&nbsp;Our drivers&nbsp;also&nbsp;assist&nbsp;with excursions, sporting&nbsp;events&nbsp;and other off campus activities at various times during the day, and in some vacation periods.&nbsp;There is flexibility in this role, allowing drivers&nbsp;to&nbsp;work as little as one shift per week, or up to as many shifts that&nbsp;they are available&nbsp;for.&nbsp;</p> <p>With a fleet of eight buses including&nbsp;minibuses&nbsp;and larger vehicles with automatic transmissions, our selection criteria include:&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Being a Christian of <a href="https://www.tyndale.edu.au/about-us/reformed-theology/" rel="nofollow">Reformed/Evangelical persuasion</a>, active in a church, and able to whole-heartedly subscribe to <a href="http://www.tyndale.edu.au/our-school/educational-creed/" rel="nofollow">Tyndale’s Educational Creed</a>&nbsp;</li> <li>Holding a Light Rigid (LR) licence (holding an&nbsp;MR or HR&nbsp;or willingness to upgrade with our support is preferable)&nbsp;</li> <li>Working&nbsp;With Children Check (WWCC) Clearance&nbsp;for paid employment&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience in driving a school or public transport bus will be highly regarded    &nbsp;</li> <li>First aid qualified (or willingness to obtain)&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>For more information about working at Tyndale, please <a href="https://www.tyndale.edu.au/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/Tyndale_Staff-Recruitment-Booklet-1.pdf" rel="nofollow">click here</a> to see a copy of our Staff Recruitment Booklet.&nbsp;</p> <p><i>Tyndale is committed to safeguarding and promoting the safety, welfare and wellbeing of children and young people.
