We are seeking a passionate and innovative Primary Teacher to join our welcoming school community in a full-time role with a clear and exciting pathway forward.
This position will commence as maternity leave cover, with a preferred start date of Semester Two, though an earlier commencement is available by negotiation. With an additional class planned for 2027, we see this role becoming a permanent position, offering genuine long-term career stability for the right person.
<p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p>
<p>• Current NT Teacher Registration</p>
<p>• Working with Children’s card – Ochre Card</p>
<p>• Support and commitment to the Catholic ethos of St Francis of Assisi</p>
<p>• Knowledge of ICT and the Australian Curriculum</p>
<p>• High level collaboration and communication skills</p>
<p>• Ability to work effectively within a team</p>
<p><strong>Selection criteria:</strong></p>
<p>• Have high expectations about students’ ability to learn.</p>
<p>• A demonstrated understanding of the ethos of a Catholic school and its mission.</p>
<p>• Display excellent classroom management, organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.</p>
<p>• Demonstrate the capability to work collaboratively with other staff to promote student learning.</p>
<p>• Provide a teaching/learning program that provides for focused/explicit literacy and numeracy teaching that engages all learners.</p>
<p>• Demonstrate a clear commitment to improving the educational outcomes of all students.</p>
<p>• Demonstrate effective communication skills with staff, students and families.</p>
<p>• A demonstrated commitment to the pastoral care and welfare of students.</p>
<p>• The ability to differentiate the curriculum in order to meet the individual needs of students.</p>
