<p><strong>About the Role</strong></p>
<p>We are seeking to appoint a Visual Art teacher (Years 6 onwards) with additional teaching areas in Humanities and English. In this role, you will deliver high-quality teaching and learning programs across these subject areas, working as part of a dynamic and collaborative team of educators.</p>
<p>You will contribute to a contemporary and engaging curriculum, supporting students to develop their skills, creativity and academic achievement across Visual Art, Humanities and English.</p>
<p>This role includes a strong commitment to child safety and wellbeing, ensuring all practices align with the College’s Child Protection policies, duty of care obligations and relevant legislative requirements.</p>

<p><strong>About you</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Relevant tertiary teaching qualifications majoring in Visual Art, with Humanities and English as additional teaching areas;</li>
<li>Registration with the Queensland College of Teachers (QCT);</li>
<li>Ability to plan and deliver exceptional teaching and learning programs that meet the needs of students in Visual Art, Humanities and English according to ACARA and QCAA;</li>
<li>Passion for quality teaching and learning and the ability to translate this into a challenging learning environment with strong student engagement and excellent academic outcomes;</li>
<li>Ability to create a safe, secure learning environment in which trust is fostered, individual differences are respected and valued, and students are encouraged to be risk takers and self-directed learners;</li>
<li>Capacity for reflection and self-directed learning with a commitment to continuously improve teaching practices;</li>
<li>Ability to apply creative and innovative practices and processes in education and digital platform tools to support student learning;</li>
<li>Strong team orientation with a willingness to contribute and collaborate;</li>
<li>Ability to establish effective relationships with students, parents and colleagues and partnerships within the wider community;</li>
</ul>
<p>Desirable</p>
<ul>
<li>QCAA accreditation in the QCE processes (i.e. Endorsement, Confirmation).</li>
</ul>
