<p>This position is for a special needs teacher with experience teaching and supporting students with ASD. The school is self-funding an ASD unit while we undertake the formal process of establishing a permanent class. The class will be funded and staffed as per departmental requirements. This will be a new unit with scope for the teacher to identify the required resources to ensure a quality educational experience for our students.</p> <p>The position is for 12 months and attracts all remote locality benefits; subsidised housing, remote bonus, additional leave and experienced teacher bonus. There will be further opportunity to extend or undertake a substantive selection process once the unit has been formally approved.</p>
