<p>The successful candidate will understand that enrolment growth is the natural outcome of a compelling Catholic identity, outstanding teaching and learning, and strong relationships across the full family journey. They will contribute strategically to strengthening pathways from early childhood through primary, supporting future Early Childhood Education and Care opportunities, and fostering meaningful connection with the on-site Eileen O'Connor Catholic College support class to ensure inclusive and aligned community engagement. </p>
<p>We seek a proven and dynamic instructional leader who is deeply collaborative and aligned to system priorities, including Catholic Schools Broken Bay’s Collaborative Coaching initiative. With a relentless focus on curriculum coherence, assessment precision and pedagogical excellence, the Assistant Principal will build teacher capability, drive measurable improvement in student outcomes, and partner closely with the Principal to shape a culture of professional growth, accountability and hope. </p>

<p><strong>The Leadership Profile Opportunity</strong> </p>
<p>The Assistant Principal will be a faith-filled and strategically minded instructional leader who: </p>

<li>Leads the strengthening of Catholic identity and fosters authentic partnership with parish and families, modelling and promoting a visible commitment to faith formation and discipleship </li>
<li>Demonstrates deep pedagogical expertise and leads high-quality teaching and learning through evidence-informed practice, curriculum coherence and rigorous assessment </li>
<li>Uses data, research and evaluative practice to drive measurable improvement in student outcomes and school performance </li>
<li>Builds teacher capability through mentoring, feedback, professional dialogue and collaborative planning, modelling Lead Teacher practice and professional growth </li>
<li>Contributes strategically to the ‘Delivering our Strategy Plan’ (school improvement plan) in partnership with the Principal </li>
<li>Builds a cohesive, high-trust and aspirational staff culture, leading change with clarity, courage and emotional intelligence </li>
<li>Engages confidently and authentically with families and the wider community, contributing to enrolment growth through strong relationships and a compelling school narrative </li>
<li>Demonstrates high-level interpersonal, organisational and communication skills, with the capacity to influence others toward shared goals. </li>

<p>Applicants must hold: </p>
<ul>
<li>NESA-approved undergraduate or postgraduate qualifications in Education </li>
<li>Postgraduate qualifications or study in Leadership, Theology, Religious Education or a related field </li>
<li>Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead in a CSBB school at (i.e. Level E) </li>
<li>Accreditation at (or working towards) Lead Teacher (desirable) </li>
<li>A valid Working with Children Check </li>
