<p><strong>Kindergarten Teacher</strong></p> <p><i>Education in Faith, Excellence in Learning, Service in Love</i></p> <p>St Anthony’s Coptic Orthodox College opened its doors in 2026 as a vibrant new faith-based community in the tradition of the Coptic Orthodox Church. We are seeking an experienced Kindergarten teacher to join our dynamic primary staff.<br> &nbsp;</p> <p>As a Kindergarten teacher, you will have the unique opportunity to work closely with the Principal to shape the culture, learning environment and spiritual life of a school built upon strong Christian values, academic excellence and a deep commitment to the holistic development of every child.</p> <p>The successful candidate will demonstrate:</p> <ul> <li><strong>At least 2 years experience as a Kindergarten classroom teacher</strong>, with a strong understanding of contemporary pedagogical practice</li> <li><strong>A commitment to teaching within a Coptic faith-based environment</strong>, upholding the beliefs, values and traditions of the school</li> <li><strong>A strong record of supporting excellence in student learning and wellbeing</strong>, with evidence of high-impact teaching strategies</li> <li><strong>The ability to contribute to a positive, inclusive and collaborative school community</strong>, working closely with colleagues, students and families</li> <li><strong>Well-developed communication, interpersonal and organisational skills</strong>, enabling effective relationships with staff, students and parents</li> <li><strong>Up-to-date knowledge of curriculum and NESA requirements</strong>, including an understanding of current syllabus expectations, differentiation and compliance obligations</li> </ul> <p>The successful candidate must have a:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor of Education&nbsp;</li> <li>Minimum of 2 years experience teaching Early Stage 1</li> <li>NESA accreditation</li> <li>Strong understanding of early literacy and numeracy development</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to differentiate learning</li> <li>Current Working With Children Check</li> <li>Current First Aid Certificate</li> <li>Commitment to child safety and wellbeing</li> </ul>
