- Full Time - $165,000 pa + 12% Super + Allowances - Equivalent $25,000 pa - Fixed from 11/04/2026 to 11/04/2028 - Location: Imanpa with duties in Yulara and Docker River.

<p>The Deputy Principal – Teaching &amp; Learning -&nbsp;is responsible for&nbsp;providing high quality educational leadership in the areas of curriculum and pedagogy, assessment and reporting, student behaviour management, and wellbeing and inclusion support to all students and programs at Nyangatjatjara College. The Deputy Principal is an active member of the Executive leadership team focusing on School-wide improvement and is active in the community working closely with families and key stakeholders.</p> <p>Nyangatjatjara College comprises three campuses and is located in Central Australia having iconic Uluru as its epicentre. The College provides Primary Age and Secondary Age Education programs and aspires to guide A<u>n</u>angu students into relevant employment and enterprise. The College serves the three A<u>n</u>angu communities of Imanpa, Mutitjulu and Kaltukatjara and is primarily accessed by the Lasseter Highway.&nbsp;The school has an active enrolment of around 75 -100 students from Foundation to Year 10.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Key duties and responsibilities</strong></p> <ol> <li>Work with the CEO Principal and other members of the Executive Leadership Team, to ensure consistent, coherent and effective operation of the school that advocated a shared strategic community vision of education, employment and enterprise that is focussed on providing quality learning engagement and learning outcomes for students with diverse backgrounds and needs.</li> <li>Provide whole school leadership of curriculum, assessment, moderation, and reporting in line with the school’s strategic direction.</li> <li>Maintain high standards of pastoral care, behaviour management and wellbeing support.</li> <li>Communicate with staff, students, parents/carers and other stakeholders about student wellbeing and academic progress and</li> <li>achievement.</li> <li>Manage and coordinate school systems and resources to ensure education services are consistent with best practice and school and departmental policies. This includes timetabling, staffing, maintenance of student records and leadership in professional development of staff.</li> <li>Undertake teaching responsibilities and other duties as required.</li> </ol> <p><strong>Information for applicants&nbsp;</strong></p> <p>Nyangatjatjara College values inclusion and diversity.
