This is a unique opportunity to inspire young women to be fearless thinkers with moral courage and compassion—empowered to shape their own futures and the world around them.</p> <p><strong>About the Role</strong></p> <p>As a member of English &amp; History and RE Departments, you will:</p> <ul> <li>Teach Junior English classes (0.4 FTE).</li> <li>Teach History classes.</li> <li>Design and deliver inclusive, engaging programs aligned with the School’s Learning and Teaching Framework.</li> <li>Foster student wellbeing and academic growth through differentiated learning and collaborative practice.</li> <li>Actively utilise and develop resources using the school's Learning Management System (LMS).</li> <li>Demonstrate a willingness to regularly update teaching and learning resources in alignment with current best practices and syllabus requirements.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>About You</strong><br> You are a proactive, collaborative and detail-oriented professional with:</p> <ul> <li>A degree in English/History and Secondary teaching and NESA accreditation.</li> <li>Experience teaching English and History.</li> <li>A commitment to girls’ education and the values of MLC School and the Uniting Church.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>About MLC School</strong></p> <p>Founded in 1886, MLC School is an independent, non-selective Uniting Church school for girls from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12 in Sydney’s inner-west.
