We are seeking to appoint an experienced Bursar with a strong finance background. This is a part-time (0.6 - 0.8 FTE) permanent position commencing in Term 1, 2026.<br><br><strong>Why Work for Sydney Catholic Schools</strong><br><br>

<p><strong>About You</strong><br><br>
As the College Bursar / Senior School Support Officer (Level 6), you will provide a high-level of support to the Principal and leadership team. As an integral member of the school community, you will demonstrate St Clare's College Waverley's values and professional standards in interacting with students, staff, parents and the community.<br><br><strong>Your responsibilities include but are not be limited to:</strong><br>
</p>
<ul>
<li>delivering high level financial administrative support to the College Leadership Team</li>
<li>communicating with the Principal and school community members on financial administrative systems</li>
<li>managing all financial administration as required</li>
<li>ensuring accurate fee structures in place and managing all school fee related tasks</li>
<li>a willingness to support the inclusive Catholic religious and cultural environment for students</li>
<li>overseeing all accounts payable and creditors</li>
<li>exhibiting management prowess in administration and finance and any other duties as directed by the Principal</li>
<li>collating and presenting annual budgets</li>
<li>manage, validate and report school Census</li>
<li>liaising with the SCS Business Partner.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>To thrive in this role, you will possess:</strong><br>
</p>
<ul>
<li>experience working in Sydney Catholic Schools and with the Compass and CiA program</li>
<li>high level proficiency in administrative and clerical tasks</li>
<li>competence in financial management</li>
<li>the ability to work in a team effectively</li>
<li>a commitment to, discretion, and maintaining confidentiality</li>
<li>prior experience working in a school environment</li>
<li>strong interpersonal and organisational abilities</li>
<li>familiarity with emerging technologies like Google Suite, Oracle, Microsoft Office software, Google Chrome, Compass, CiAnywhere, along with a solid grasp of Facilities tasks and WHS.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>You will have attained:</strong><br>
</p>
<ul>
<li>a minimum of five years of administrative/clerical experience</li>
<li>proficiency in financial and administrative management.</li>
</ul>
