We're looking for an enthusiastic educator who is committed to nurturing the whole child鈥攁cademically, spiritually, and emotionally.</p> <p>This is a unique opportunity to shape the next generation in a supportive and values-driven environment.</p> <p><strong>About the Role</strong></p> <p>As a Primary Teacher, you'll be responsible for:</p> <ul> <li>Creating a positive, engaging, and faith-centred learning environment.</li> <li>Planning and delivering high-quality, differentiated lessons.</li> <li>Fostering a love of learning and curiosity in our students.</li> <li>Building strong, collaborative relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.</li> <li>Integrating our school's Christian values into daily classroom life and curriculum.</li> </ul> <p>Commencing on&nbsp;<strong>16 January 2026</strong>, this position is full-time.</p> <p>Relocation assistance is available.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Skills and experience</strong></p> <p>The successful candidate will bring a strong knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and pedagogical practice, and have a passion for teaching and learning.</p> <p>The successful candidate will also be fully aligned with the Christian values and beliefs of Freshwater Christian College, and seek a role providing opportunities to utilise their talents and skills to make a difference in the lives of our students and the wider College community.</p> <p><strong>Essential qualifications and requirements</strong></p> <ol> <li>Appropriate tertiary qualifications in teaching.&nbsp;</li> <li>Queensland College of Teachers Registration (or the ability to obtain).</li> <li>Be fully aligned with the values, virtues, and Christian beliefs of Freshwater Christian College.</li> <li>Able to affirm the College鈥檚 Statement of Faith.</li> <li>Able to comply with College policies, procedures, codes of conduct, and training requirements, including those related to work health and safety, risk management, child protection, and confidentiality.</li> <li>Able to work with all members of the College community.</li> <li>A willingness to assist in extracurricular activities after normal working hours.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Be legally permitted to work in Australia.</li> </ol> <p><strong>Why Join Our Community?</strong></p> <p>Located in beautiful Cairns, our school offers a tropical lifestyle and a close-knit community.
