Since opening in 1961, Westminster鈥檚 vibrant sense of community has shaped our welcoming, down-to-earth character, enriched by School values of being brave, humble, kind, authentic, resilient and curious.</p> <p><strong>About the role</strong><br> We are seeking an experienced,&nbsp;visionary&nbsp;educator to lead the strategic integration of student experience, values education, and global engagement across the School. The Head of Student Experience &amp; Global Engagement will oversee the Values@West curriculum, Round Square affiliation, international student support, and capability development through the Westminster Capability Compass.</p> <p>You will work closely with the School Chaplain and leadership teams to embed a culture of spirituality, inclusivity, and ethical leadership. This role is pivotal in aligning wellbeing, global citizenship, and values-based education from ELC to Year 12.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities include, but not limited to:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Develop and lead the strategic integration of wellbeing, values, and global engagement programs.</li> <li>Oversee Round Square initiatives, student exchanges, and global citizenship opportunities.</li> <li>Support the planning of Chapel services and foster a spiritually rich and inclusive environment.</li> <li>Line manage the International Student Coordinator and School Psychologists/Counsellors.</li> <li>Promote culturally inclusive practices and community partnerships.</li> <li>Provide professional learning for staff in values education, global learning, spiritual inquiry, and Wellbeing Curriculum.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Key Selection Criteria: Qualifications, Skills and Experience:</strong>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Relevant tertiary qualifications and experience in similar roles</li> <li>Current (or ability to attain) SA Teacher Registration</li> <li>Proven leadership experience in values education, pastoral care, or intercultural/global learning</li> <li>Familiarity with Uniting Church values and beliefs</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to align and integrate diverse programs under a unified strategic vision</li> <li>Experience with student capability frameworks (e.g. General Capabilities, SACE Thrive Agenda)</li> <li>Experience supporting international students or leading intercultural inclusion</li> <li>Passion for supporting young people to become ethical, capable, globally aware citizens</li> <li>Strong interpersonal, communication and team leadership skills</li> <li>Commitment to holistic student growth and a deeply relational approach to education.</li> </ul> <p>An enthusiastic, resilient and an optimistic educator, you are committed to lifelong learning and continuous improvement. You have a high level of organisational and prioritising skills, with the ability to be flexible to manage multiple demands in a fast-paced environment.
