A permanent position (Monday to Friday, 8:15am – 4:00pm during school term time) exists for a suitably qualified and enthusiastic Learning and Wellbeing Assistant to assist students with disability in a small group setting. 

<p>In 2026 the school will have enrolments from years 3-8, comprised of 3 small classes. Each class will have approximately 5-10 students, a Class Teacher and Learning and Wellbeing Assistant.  We are currently inviting applications for the following position commencing January 2026:&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>The successful applicant will be able to meet the following key criteria:&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Be able to assist in providing quality Christian education to students&nbsp;</li> <li>Certificate III and/or IV in School Based Education Support desirable&nbsp;</li> <li>An understanding of how students with disability learn, and the ability to assist the teacher to make adjustments in all areas of their learning and development both in the classroom and playground&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience with working with students with disability&nbsp;</li> <li>It is desirable for all staff to hold a current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID004) and to have completed Asthma, Anaphylaxis, and Diabetes training, or be willing to obtain these. The school provides cyclic training in these areas&nbsp;</li> <li>Have a genuine love of children and be committed to their growth in learning&nbsp;</li> <li>Demonstrate a relational approach to their work, and a willingness to partner with teachers, students and parents&nbsp;</li> <li>Contribute positively to the culture of the College community&nbsp;</li> <li>Demonstrate strong technology skills to effectively complete tasks such as recording data electronically regarding student adjustments&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>The Student Learning &amp; Wellbeing Assistant will work under the direction of the assigned classroom teacher. They will support individual students and groups in both classroom and playground settings, and will also accompany teaching staff and students on excursions and camps. The successful applicant will report relevant aspects of student progress to teachers and other key leaders, as well as contribute to professional discussions to ensure inclusive education for all students.&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
