<p><strong>About the Role</strong><br><br>
As the <strong>Executive Assistant Principal</strong>, you will support the Principal in driving the College's teaching and learning strategy and oversee operations. As part of the executive leadership team, the role oversees a team of assistant principals across the College.</p>
<p>In collaboration with the Pastor, Principal, and other Catholic lay leaders, the position shares responsibility for the Church's evangelising and catechising mission within the College. The role contributes to supporting teachers to demonstrate best quality pedagogical practice to enhance and improve learning outcomes for students.</p>
<p>To be considered for this role, you must demonstrate impact in:</p>

<li>fostering a high-performance College culture focused on continuous improvement, data-driven decision-making, and best practice</li>
<li>collaborating with leadership to plan, implement, and evaluate strategic teaching and learning objectives</li>
<li>strengthening school-parish connections in the Church's evangelising mission</li>
<li>staying current with educational trends locally and globally to guide staff development</li>
<li>overseeing the Annual Professional Learning Plan to support staff capability</li>
<li>managing complex pastoral care and discipline matters as required</li>
<li>leading or supporting recruitment and selection across all role levels</li>
<li>assisting in developing and executing the College's wellbeing framework</li>
<li>promoting and enacting the SCS mission: To know and love Christ through learning and Thriving Catholic communities through excellent teaching and learning.</li>

<p>You will have attained, or be pursuing, the following qualifications:</p>
<ul>
<li>postgraduate qualifications or Masters in Leadership, Religion, Theology or a relevant educational field</li>
<li>requirements of <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://sydcatholicschools.nsw.edu.au/policies/accreditation-policy-to-work-teach-and-lead-in-sydney-catholic-schools"><u>(Category E)</u></a> as per <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://sydcatholicschools.nsw.edu.au/policies/accreditation-policy-to-work-teach-and-lead-in-sydney-catholic-schools"><u>Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead</u></a> or agree to meet these requirements in your first contract term.</li>
