Located on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, the College is renowned for its strong academic tradition, commitment to pastoral care, and vibrant co-curricular program.</p> <p>We are seeking a dynamic and collaborative&nbsp;Computing and Software Engineering Teacher&nbsp;to join our team in a&nbsp;permanent full-time capacity, for the commencement of 2026. You will teach Computing and Software Engineering across&nbsp;Stages 5–6, inspire a love of digital innovation, and actively contribute to our co-curricular program (coding clubs, robotics, and tech competitions).</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Deliver high-quality learning experiences in&nbsp;Software Engineering and Computing Technologies&nbsp;for Stages 5-6</li> <li>Support and lead co-curricular initiatives such as&nbsp;coding challenges, robotics programs, and digital innovation showcases</li> <li>Use&nbsp;evidence-informed practice, formative assessment, and explicit teaching to drive student growth</li> <li>Collaborate with colleagues to develop engaging units, resources, and assessments aligned with current industry trends</li> <li>Foster a safe, inclusive, and disciplined learning environment aligned to College values</li> <li>Contribute to the broader life of the College and co-curricular activities</li> </ul> <p><strong>About You</strong></p> <p>You will be an educator who models professional excellence and enthusiasm for technology and innovation. &nbsp;You have:</p> <ul> <li>NSW teaching accreditation and relevant tertiary qualifications in&nbsp;Computing, Software Engineering, or Information Technology</li> <li>Demonstrated success teaching&nbsp;Stage 6 Computing or Software Engineering, with strong curriculum and assessment literacy</li> <li>Proven experience in&nbsp;software development, coding instruction, or digital systems education</li> <li>Strong classroom management, communication, and relationship-building skills with adolescent boys</li> <li>A commitment to the ethos of Catholic education and to the Augustinian values of Truth, Love and Community</li> </ul> <p><strong>Child Safeguarding Statement</strong></p> <p>St Augustine’s College is committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of all students.
