<p><strong>About You</strong><br><br>
As part of the <strong>Learning Support</strong> Team as a <strong>Food Technology Assistant</strong> you will assist the classroom teacher in providing a quality Catholic education focused on maximising student outcomes, through a holistic, student centred curriculum.<br><br>
To excel in this role, you will:</p>
<ul>
<li>support a Christ-centered learning environment and an inclusive environment for all students</li>
<li>work collaboratively with teachers to assist in the facilitation of practical lessons</li>
<li>promote WHS practices in the kitchen/food preparation areas</li>
<li>assist staff in setting up and maintaining equipment, maintaining stock and ordering/sourcing of ingredients</li>
<li>show excellent communication skills, be organised, supportive and resourceful</li>
<li>have experience in food handling and preparation and knowledge of current food safety practices and standards.</li>
</ul>
<p>You will have attained:</p>
<ul>
<li>Food Handling Certificate</li>
<li>a Certificate III or IV in Educational Support from TAFE NSW or equivalent post-secondary qualification</li>
<li>a current First Aid qualification.</li>
