<p>A new chapter awaits in the beautiful Southern Downs region. Warwick, Queensland is a community rich in history, culture and natural beauty without sacrificing access to modern services. SCOTS PGC College is set on expansive grounds and is a leading co-educational day and boarding school for students from Prep to Year 12. Founded in the Uniting Church ethos, and with over a century of tradition, the College is known for its welcoming community, values-driven education, and holistic focus on personalising approaches to academic, pastoral, and co-curricular development. Deeply connected to its regional context, SCOTS PGC College blends strong community partnerships with a progressive vision for student pathways of learning.</p>
<p>The Council is now seeking an inspiring and committed Principal/CEO to lead the next chapter in the College’s journey. With a negotiated start date, the Principal/CEO will be a culturally grounded and educationally strategic leader, responsible for advancing the mission and values of the College while shaping a future-focused vision that is responsive to the evolving needs of students, staff and families. Leading a dedicated team and working closely with the College Council, the Principal/CEO will provide high-level leadership across strategic planning, academic programs, operational management, pastoral care, and community engagement.</p>
<p>With a commitment to inclusive education and a deep understanding of the power of relationships, the next Principal/CEO will continue to foster a strong, supportive and innovative culture for students and staff, while continuing to steward the College’s long-term sustainability. An entrepreneurial mindset and keen business acumen would be an asset for the next Principal/CEO.</p>
<p>The successful candidate will:</p>
<ul>
<li>demonstrate a commitment to supporting the Christian values, Uniting Church ethos and culture of the College with the ability to lead a diverse and inclusive regional community</li>
<li>clearly articulate and inspire a compelling strategic vision which enhances the quality of education at the College and anticipates the future needs of learners and teachers</li>
<li>demonstrate a high level of engagement in effective education, with thorough knowledge of developments at international, national and state levels</li>
<li>demonstrate the knowledge and the successful implementation of a range of executive leadership principles and practices in managing change and innovation in an inclusive and collaborative manner</li>
<li>manage high level and complex student and staff wellbeing matters in a timely and effective manner</li>
<li>provide an executive level of leadership in all aspects of the College’s operations, including resourcing and people management, financial management, marketing, fundraising, communications, risk/compliance and governance</li>
<li>empower staff, students and parents to actively engage with the College community through effective communication and positive relationships.</li>
</ul>
<p>Applicants must be able to obtain the relevant state-based teacher registration and have the right to work in Australia.</p>
<p>An attractive remuneration package is offered, including an executive residence with river views.</p>
