<p>Red Bend Catholic College invites suitably qualified and experienced leaders to apply for the leadership role of House Coordinator responsible for student wellbeing. </p>
<p>Situated in the heart of the Lachlan Valley in Central West NSW, Red Bend Catholic College is a co-educational Years 7-12 Catholic Day and Boarding school in the Marist tradition. The College educates over 860 students from rural, regional and remote areas to provide an extensive Catholic education. Our core purpose is to make Jesus Christ known and loved through the rich experiences of College life, which includes a clear focus on academic care, wellbeing, boarding, co-curricular and sporting experiences.</p>
<p>The House Coordinator will promote student safety, well-being and the development of positive relationships. In addition to this, they are responsible for the administration and operation of the House and assist the Director of Students in the management and wellbeing of students. </p>
<p>The House Coordinator will be an exceptional educational leader with a passion for student wellbeing. teaching and learning. You will have experience in leadership as well as appropriate qualifications, be an excellent communicator, with a strategic vision and strong interpersonal skills. <i><strong> </strong></i></p>

<p><strong>ESSENTIAL CRITERIA - The successful candidate will:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Be accredited by NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) (or be eligible for said NESA accreditation).</li>
<li>Have Tertiary Educational Qualifications at Bachelor degree level or higher that are or would be recognised by NESA preferably with a major or subjects covering the relevant subject area(s).</li>
<li>Have at least two years experience teaching in a secondary school.</li>
<li>Have a Working with Children Check.</li>
<li>Have a willingness to support the Catholic Ethos of the College, its Marist and Mercy Charism and the Vision of Red Bend Catholic College (please see <a href="https://www.redbendcc.nsw.edu.au" rel="nofollow">www.redbendcc.nsw.edu.au</a>) </li>
<li>Demonstrate passion and aptitude for teaching the relevant subject area(s).</li>
<li>Be able to present prescribed curriculum using a range of teaching techniques and materials.</li>
<li>Be a confident practitioner in a mixed ability classroom. </li>

<p><strong>DESIRABLE CRITERIA </strong></p>
<p>The successful candidate may also:</p>
<ul>
<li>Demonstrate a willingness to be involved in co curricula activities</li>
<li>Demonstrate a willingness to take sport in the timetable (once a week, two periods a week maximum).</li>
<li>Have a Senior First Aid and CPR Certificate.</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Remuneration</strong></p>
<p>Teaching staff at the College are covered by the NSW Catholic Independent Schools (Teachers – Model C) Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2023. Current base salary range from $96,000 to $137,861 per annum. The roles will be paid at the rates of pay determined for Graduate 2, Proficient, Level 1 to Proficient, Level 5 classifications.</p>
<p>An additional Coordinator #2 Allowance will be added to the salary as an additional level of Remuneration </p>
