Our outdoor education campus, Tallong, is located on 97 hectares in the Southern Highlands. Term Time only</p> <p><strong>Work days and hours:&nbsp; </strong>Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm</p> <p><strong>Commencement Date</strong>: Immediately or by negotiation</p> <p><strong>The successful candidate will:</strong></p> <ul> <li>support the Catholic Dominican Mission of the College and promote the prayer life of the College</li> <li>demonstrate an understanding of the curriculum requirements in regards to adjustments and modifications for NESA courses</li> <li>be a collaborative practitioner who can work with a range of teams</li> <li>work collaboratively with staff and families to support students with specific learning needs</li> <li>attend collaborative planning and feedback meetings with staff and families</li> <li>implement programs and strategies to support students and teachers</li> <li>implement specific strategies devised from a student鈥檚 Individual Learning Plan (ILP) / Personalised Learning Plan (PLP)</li> <li>assist identified students with their needs during allocated times in the classroom and playground</li> <li>collect feedback from classroom teachers about student progress</li> <li>source and develop appropriate resources to enhance access to the curriculum</li> <li>liaise with relevant teaching and Inclusive Education/Diverse Learning staff to discuss daily plans/student support needs</li> <li>support student engagement in learning as directed</li> <li>assist with the supervision of students in the classroom</li> <li>assist identified students with their needs during allocated times in the classroom and playground</li> <li>demonstrate duty of care to students in relation to their physical and mental wellbeing</li> <li>support identified students at key points of transition to attend and participate in all activities at the College</li> <li>Please visit the College website for further application details:</li> <li><a href="https://www.ssc.nsw.edu.au/about-santa-sabina/employment-vacancies/" rel="nofollow"><u>https://www.ssc.nsw.edu.au/about-santa-sabina/employment-vacancies/</u></a></li> <li>Applications must contain a cover letter addressed to the College Principal, Ms Paulina Skerman.
