Join us on our exciting new journey at this beautiful location and help change the lives of our students.</p> <p><strong>Certificate 3 Educational Support preferred.</strong>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities/Selection Criteria&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Assisting teachers and students with sporting activities and with school excursions</li> <li>Supporting students with their academic learning, individually or within a group</li> <li>Assisting in numeracy and literacy programs</li> <li>Communicating effectively and displaying high level of interpersonal skills to function as an effective team member</li> <li>Maintaining anecdotal records on students for use in reviewing student's development.</li> <li>Displaying respect and empathy for students with high level needs</li> <li>Displaying confidentiality, tact, reliability and sensitively to students and their families</li> <li>Administration assistance to Teachers as required</li> <li>Assisting in the supervision of education activities, under the direction of a teacher</li> <li>Assisting teaching staff with supervision during breaks</li> <li>Contributing to the welfare, health and safety of students.</li> <li>Assist students with special needs including but not limited to, learning disabilities, ASD and other various diagnoses.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>Please address the&nbsp;above Selection Criteria.</li> <li>Experience working as a Teacher Aide preferably in a secondary school.</li> <li>Current Qld Working With Children Blue Card (P) Paid</li> <li>Certificate 3 in Educational Support or equivalent preferred.</li> <li>Australian Drivers Licence.</li> <li>Names &amp; contact details of two Australian professional referees.</li> </ul>
