<p>St Mary MacKillop Catholic Primary School, Bannockburn, is seeking teachers who have a passion for teaching Performing Arts and have a clear knowledge and understanding of current Victorian curriculum and education trends to join their staff. The successful applicant will need to have experience teaching Performing Arts (Dance, Drama &amp; Music) to Primary school aged children.</p> <p><strong>The position is a full time maternity leave position until the end of the 2025 school year. &nbsp;The position has a start date of Tuesday 26th August to enable a handover with the current PA teacher.</strong></p> <p>Applications are invited from Performing Arts teachers to join a team dedicated to achieving engaging learning experiences that challenge children to achieve their personal best.&nbsp;</p> <p>The successful applicant needs to be able to demonstrate how they can inspire the children in their care and communicate their passion for Performing Arts.</p> <p>It is expected that the successful applicant will:</p> <ul> <li>be committed to the values and ethos of the Catholic education system</li> <li>be highly motivated, committed, positive, friendly and enthusiastic</li> <li>be passionate and innovative about learning and teaching in Performing Arts</li> <li>have knowledge and experience of the Victorian Curriculum.&nbsp;</li> <li>be able to communicate frequently and sensitively with families and successfully engage them in the instructional program</li> <li>have the ability to be a collaborative contributor within a team focussed learning community</li> <li>be self motivated and able to work independently if necessary</li> <li>have the capacity to cater effectively for a diverse range of learning needs</li> <li>be able to build positive relationships with children and create learning environments where all are valued and challenged</li> <li>be committed to professional learning and ongoing improvement</li> <li>be able to embed ICT into classroom practice.</li> </ul> <p>This community of St Mary MacKillop is committed to the safety, wellbeing and protection of all children in our care.
