<p>Oakhill College is an Independent Catholic Secondary School in the Lasallian tradition, located in Castle Hill, NSW. The College has an enrolment of approximately 2,250 students, with boys in Years 7 to 10 and a co-educational setting in Years 11 and 12. <p><strong>Religious Education (RE) Teacher</strong></p>

<p><strong>Commencing January 2026</strong></p>
<p>Due to growth, the College seeks to appoint an innovative RE Teacher with excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and effective RE lessons, provide guidance and support to students, and contribute to their overall academic and pastoral care.</p>
<p><strong>Key duties and responsibilities:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Proven ability to teach Religious Education (RE) across Stages 4-5</li>
<li>The ability to teach an additional subject is advantageous</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience teaching HSC Studies of Religion</li>
<li>HSC marking experience is preferable </li>
<li>Planning and implementing effective teaching and innovative pedagogical practices</li>
<li>Provide a positive and engaging teaching and learning experience for students</li>
<li>Assessing, providing feedback, and reporting on student learning</li>
<li>Developing teaching programs and assessments across all stages preferred however not essential</li>
<li>Working collaboratively in a Religious Education Faculty</li>
<li>Ability to implement new syllabi</li>
<li>Creating and maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment</li>
<li>Using effective pedagogies, a range of differentiated approaches and a variety of stimulating and interactive resources to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes</li>
<li>Effectively managing student behaviour and maintaining an educational environment that promotes learning. </li>
