<p>The Canteen Manager is responsible for the efficient, safe, and financially viable operation of the school canteen. This includes planning menus, managing stock, maintaining health and safety standards, supervising staff and volunteers, and ensuring the canteen supports the nutritional needs of students and the wider school community.</p> <p>Please refer to the website for a copy of the Position Description.</p> <p><strong><u>Qualifications / Experience</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Demonstrated experience in operating or managing a school canteen, café, or commercial kitchen, including food preparation, service, and staff supervision.</li> <li>Experience with budgeting, stock control, supplier management, processing daily takings, and authorising invoices.</li> <li>Familiarity with electronic ordering/payment systems such as Flexischools is an advantage.</li> <li>Current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate Level 2&nbsp;</li> <li>First Aid Certificate (desirable)</li> </ul> <p>The successful applicant will be expected to support and uphold the Strategic Direction of the College.
