<p><strong>The opportunity</strong></p> <p>We are seeking an enthusiastic Early Childhood Teacher to join our 3-year-old room from Term 3, starting 21 July 2025. This position is either part-time or full-time depending on your preference, from 26 hours per week (days negotiable). If you have completed at least 50% of a relevant Early Childhood Teaching degree, you may be eligible to work in this role under a Special Authority. You bring creativity, care, and professionalism to your teaching, nurturing each child’s development through play-based learning. With strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset, you create a positive, supportive environment for children, families, and your team. We are looking for someone who:</p> <ul> <li>Is suitably qualified with a Bachelor in Early Childhood Education or equivalent or at least 50% completed degree for special authority.</li> <li>Is a committed Christian who is active in church fellowship to join our vibrant Christian community.</li> <li>Has an outstanding attention to detail.</li> <li>Has the ability to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li> <li>Has a current Working With Children Check, have completed Responding to Risk of Harm, Abuse &amp; Neglect in Education &amp; Care (RRHAN-EC) training, and Protective Practices training or be willing to complete these upon commencement.</li> </ul> <p><strong>About Sunrise Christian School</strong></p> <p>Sunrise Christian School educates the hearts and minds of children to provide wisdom and an understanding of God.
